The doggy bag you take home should be put in the refrigerator (between 3°C and 7°C) as soon as possible. So if you’re planning to spend the afternoon shopping, it’s not a good idea to take your leftovers with you. Reheat your spaghetti only once, and try to finish the leftovers by the next day at the latest. Freezing your doggy bag isn’t a great idea, since the spaghetti will lose its flavor that way.
Do you realize you'll be a little late for your reservation? Be sure to give us a call, because otherwise your table will be released and we won't be able to guarantee your seat anymore.
You can always spice up or jazz up your takeout or store-bought sauce a little. What’sthe best way to do that? Below are a few dishes that we think you can add a little magic to yourself.
Canara
Add one egg yolk per person to your dish. This will give it extra flavor and creaminess. Of course, you can always fry some extra bacon or mushrooms and add them to the dish. Just be sure to drain and dry the extra fried bacon thoroughly to avoid a greasy film when reheating.
Curryous Chick
You can always add some yellow curry powder and/or mango here.
Sweet Scampa
Sauté some scallions and/or diced red, yellow, or green bell peppers and/or diced onion to add to the dish. You can also add an extra pinch of chili powder or cayenne pepper to make the dish a little spicier.
Pimp the Shrimp
Sauté some diced red bell peppers and add them to your sauce or dish. A pinch of chili powder or cayenne pepper would also work well here.
Pest-O-Chick
Take a handful of pine nuts and toast them briefly in a pan (do not use oil or butter). Add them to your sauce or sprinkle them over your dish.
Did you buy chicken or scampi at Mister Spaghetti?
Our chicken and scampi are pre-marinated and cooked. You can simply reheat them in a pan with the sauce. If you want to reheat them in a skillet, sear them very briefly to form a crust, then remove them from the heat.
Want to fry your own chicken or scampi?
Season the chicken with chicken seasoning or Cajun seasoning and cook until everything is done. A light crust is definitely fine. Once thawed, cook the scampi in a pan for 2 minutes on each side. Simply season them with a little salt and pepper. Then just add them to your dish.
Our Homemade Oil
Our Smelly Oil, Basil Oil, and Spicy Oil can add extra flavor to any dish. You can find more information about them at shop.mister-spaghetti.com
We have a few vegetarian and vegan dishes. You can easily use our food filter to filter by allergens and the type of meal you'd like to see what we have to offer.
Woohoow!Another year “wiser”!If it’s someone’s birthday, we’d love to celebrate with them. During the week of their birthday ( or the week before or after ), every birthday celebrant gets a free aperitif on the house. That’s a great way to start your dinner, isn’t it?
All you need to do is mention this when you make your reservation and show your ID card to the staff member who is assisting you.
Do you have an allergy? Please let us know! We’ll provide you with our allergen menu, which lists the allergens in our dishes. We offer gluten-free pasta at our restaurant. For other allergens, please refer to the table.
Since we want to make sure everything goes smoothly, we ask that you alwayslet us know—both when you make your reservation and when you’re seatedat the restaurant—if there’s anything in particular we need to be aware of before we prepare your pasta.
Are you satisfied? Then let everyone know on social media and TripAdvisor!
Are you less than satisfied? Please let our on-site manager know or contact us at hello-you@mister-spaghetti.be. We’d be happy to look into it with you. Because our goal is for everyone to come and go with a smile.
You can always change your reservation by calling the location during business hours. Changes made via email or Facebook may not be seen immediately.
If additional seating is needed, this must first be coordinated with the restaurant. Due to limited seating capacity, it is not always possible to simply add more seating when the restaurant is at full capacity.
If someone drops out and a meal has already been reserved for them (e.g., a group reservation), that person will be charged unless we are notified in advance that they will not be attending. For groups, preparations are often made in advance, which involves using the necessary ingredients.
To preserve the print on the glass for as long as possible, we always recommend not putting the glasses in the dishwasher.
We recommend hand-washing our aprons or washing them at 30 degrees and not putting them in the dryer. Using fabric softener can also cause an apron to take on an overpowering scent, making it less pleasant to wear while eating because it smells “too good” and masks the smell of the food.
You can easily order a gift card online using our own tool. There are no additional fees, and the gift card will be sent directly to your email inbox.
One handy feature is that you can buy multiple gift certificates and send them individually to the lucky recipients on their birthdays or whenever you like. And you can include a personal message with each one!
If there is a remaining balance on the redeemed voucher, a new voucher will automatically be generated and emailed to you so you can use it another time.
Contact us at hello-you@mister-spaghetti.be and we'll see what we can do for you.
You can always bring your gift certificate to the restaurant, either printed out or on your smartphone. When you’re ready to pay, just let us know that you’d like to use this certificate, and our staff will take care of the rest. You don’t need to enter the code through the reservation system.
We recently introduced a new gift card system. All you have to do is bring the magazine or email containing the QR code so it can be scanned.
We operate on a double-booking system. This means your table can be reserved for a maximum of 2 hours during the first seating. This is ideal if you want to catch a movie afterward, have plans elsewhere, or simply want to get home early…
The first part starts at 6:00 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m., or 6:45 p.m. The second part starts at 8:00 p.m., 8:15 p.m., 8:30 p.m., or 8:45 p.m. After that, it doesn’t matter. Due to high volume, service may sometimes be a little slower than usual. That’s why we ask that you always arrive on time.
For more information about parking and events, please visit the city's website.
If you don't see your preferred time slot listed, it may be fully booked. You can always choose a different time slot or call to ask if there's still availability at your preferred time. You can always send us a message via Messenger. We check these messages regularly. This does not guarantee an immediate reservation!
Please note! Do not select a different time slot with a note indicating a later or earlier arrival. We are operating at full capacity and cannot simply accommodate anyone.
You can always make a reservation using our online tool or by phone. We cannot guarantee reservations or cancellations made via Facebook, Instagram, or other social media platforms because response times are often shorter.
Last-minute cancellations for the same day must always be made by phone during business hours!
We recommend that you observe the expiration date printed on the bottle.
Our Smelly Oil, Basil Oil, and Spicy Oil can be used with all kinds of food. They’re perfect for adding a little extra flavor to dishes like spaghetti, salad, chicken, etc.
If your leftovers have become a bit dry, you can always add a little oil to the Bolognese, Green Hugger, Asian Hugger, and Asian Surft & Turf dishes. For the dishes from the “Creamy Corner,” you can always add a little cream while reheating the spaghetti to make it creamier. Keep in mind that this may change the flavor slightly, but you can—and definitely should—season it to taste.
This can happen! Takeout food may taste different for a variety of reasons. The heat and time spent in transit inside the sealed container can cause dishes and seasonings to cook longer. The spaghetti may also become “soggy.” The container itself can sometimes impart a certain flavor, but this is rare.
Tip! If you won't be eating your takeout until the next day, we recommend letting us know. We'll then serve the spaghetti cold so that it tastes its best the next day.
If you pick up a hot takeout meal and decide not to eat it that same evening, we recommend storing it in the refrigerator without a lid. This allows the heat to dissipate immediately and prevents moisture from building up, which keeps the dish from losing its texture and flavor.
TIP: You can also order a cold takeout meal.
Our takeout meals and sauces can be stored in the refrigerator for 2–3 days.
Our sauces can always be placed in the freezer after pickup. We don’t recommend freezing sauces from the Creamy Corner, but it’s certainly possible. We recommend heating all sauces in a small saucepan over low heat. Bolognese sauces can be defrosted in the microwave on the appropriate setting, but here too, we recommend using a saucepan and the stovetop. Stirring regularly is key here as well.
Do not refreeze after thawing, but it can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 night.
You can reheat leftovers or sauces up to two more times after they were originally prepared. Each time, put the leftovers in the refrigerator as soon as possible after preparation (even while they're still warm!).
If you’re picking up a cold takeout meal or have leftovers from the day before, you can reheat them in the microwave or on the stove as often as you like. If you’ve chosen a dish from the “Creamy Corner” section, it’s best to reheat it at a maximum of 600 watts. For Bolognese dishes, use a maximum of 800 watts. It’s a good idea to stir it occasionally.
You can also heat up the spaghetti with sauce in a pot on the stove. Heat the spaghetti over low heat. Stir frequently.
