You can always spice up or jazz up your takeout or store-bought sauce a little. What’sthe best way to do that? Below are a few dishes that we think you can add a little magic to yourself.
Canara
Add one egg yolk per person to your dish. This will give it extra flavor and creaminess. Of course, you can always fry some extra bacon or mushrooms and add them to the dish. Just be sure to drain and dry the extra fried bacon thoroughly to avoid a greasy film when reheating.
Curryous Chick
You can always add some yellow curry powder and/or mango here.
Sweet Scampa
Sauté some scallions and/or diced red, yellow, or green bell peppers and/or diced onion to add to the dish. You can also add an extra pinch of chili powder or cayenne pepper to make the dish a little spicier.
Pimp the Shrimp
Sauté some diced red bell peppers and add them to your sauce or dish. A pinch of chili powder or cayenne pepper would also work well here.
Pest-O-Chick
Take a handful of pine nuts and toast them briefly in a pan (do not use oil or butter). Add them to your sauce or sprinkle them over your dish.
Did you buy chicken or scampi at Mister Spaghetti?
Our chicken and scampi are pre-marinated and cooked. You can simply reheat them in a pan with the sauce. If you want to reheat them in a skillet, sear them very briefly to form a crust, then remove them from the heat.
Want to fry your own chicken or scampi?
Season the chicken with chicken seasoning or Cajun seasoning and cook until everything is done. A light crust is definitely fine. Once thawed, cook the scampi in a pan for 2 minutes on each side. Simply season them with a little salt and pepper. Then just add them to your dish.
Our Homemade Oil
Our Smelly Oil, Basil Oil, and Spicy Oil can add extra flavor to any dish. You can find more information about them at shop.mister-spaghetti.com
